The Key to Feeling Refreshed: Staying Hydrated

Did you know our bodies are 50-75% water? Feeling sluggish in the afternoon? You might be dehydrated! Dehydration can lead to overeating and poor food choices. Start your day off right with a tall glass of lemon water to detoxify your liver and help metabolize the food you consume🍋! A.M. water will empower you to make healthy choices throughout the day.

Let’s aim for 8 glasses (of room temperature water) daily. Using a bottle with markers on it (like the one picture above) can help you to hit your daily goal. If you’re not a water drinker, or are having trouble meeting your daily goal, below are some other sources that can count towards your daily H20:

  • cantaloupe

  • celery

  • coffee(in moderation)

  • cucumbers

  • grapefruit

  • iceberg lettuce

  • milk & dairy alternatives

  • soup

Additionally, 2 cups of green tea per day will help you stay hydrated, and is a great source of antioxidants!
